TRACONAL: Description
TRACONAL (TRANSFORMER CONTAMINATION ANALYSIS) is a software analysis system that mainly converts oil-sampling data (Cw and TTS) into the average water content (Cp - weight %) of the transformer cellulose materials.
The Cp value here represents the kernel value of the distinctive moisture characteristic of the transformer, as this value does not vary with the transformer temperature.
In contrast to the standard diagnostics, TRACONAL program based on this Cp value, enables easy simulation and prediction of any operational state of the given transformer inclusive of the oil dielectric strength.
TRACONAL also tracks the degradation rate of the paper and other potential sources of the water and particles and suggests preventative measures.
